Samsung may have a new smartwatch to show alongside the Galaxy S10 , and assorted other goodies, on February 20. Leaks have shown what was first referred to as the Samsung Galaxy Watch Sport, but what we now know will be called the Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch. It is likely a sequel to the old Samsung Gear Sport smartwatch. Samsung abandoned the Gear branding, and moved to plain Galaxy branding, on the Galaxy Watch announced late last year, so we assume it will do the same for all new watch models. Design What will the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active look like? Several images have been leaked showing the same design, with the latest coming from Samsung itself. Anyone using the Samsung Wear app will see the option to pair with the Galaxy Watch Active, or new fitness bands called the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e. First spotted by a Twitter user in Samsung’s own wearables app, the wearables are still shown in the app at the time of writing. There is no further information on the Galaxy Fit or Fit e yet, but the image also reveals the Watch Active will have a 40mm diameter body. The image in the app for the Galaxy Watch Active matches a clear render we’ve already seen.
